Jewellery Care
Sterling silver and gold plated jewellery must be consistently cared for to preserve your jewellerys beauty, shine and durability. It is natural and normal for gold plated and sterling silver jewellery to tarnish over time and inevitably suffer wear and tear.
There are simple things that you can do to prolong the life and colour of your jewellery. Avoid direct contact with chemicals such as perfumes, creams etc. Always remove your jewellery when showering, bathing, exercising, gardening and sleeping. After wearing, gently wipe clean with a soft, clean cloth.
All pearls and beads are carefully sourced from vintage finds, each bead is totally unique with its own individual shape and markings.
All pieces arrive with a handmade pouch to store and protect your jewellery so you can treasure forever.

Unfortunately we cannot refund pierced jewellery for hygiene reasons. Studio Keble does not cover the cost of returns and postage.
Sizing
The most reliable, accurate and recommended best way to ensure you order the correct size ring is to have your finger professionally sized at a jewellers local to you. They will use different tools to measure your finger and work out your perfect ring size. This is usually a free service.
Another option and one of the most trustable home methods to get correct measurements is to buy a ring sizer.
Ring sizers are a special device you can buy online very cheaply. You can google using keywords like ring sizer or ring sizing tool. You will get clear directions on how to use one. Adjust the size of the circle, move it across your knuckles, as you would do with a real ring. Make sure it fits comfortably, and take notes of the measurements.
You can also keep it for the future so you can easily size any of your fingers for further ring purchases.
When buying a ring a drop down box will appear and you can simply enter your ring size.
Sustainability
After working in fast fashion for over a decade I have seen too much waste and too many decisions made without thinking about the impact on the world around us. I do believe environmental and social responsibility is the way forward. This is going to be a continuing journey of learning, development and experimentation for Studio Keble.
All Jewellery comes in a box made from 70% FSC certified recycled cardboard. Each piece is contained within a handmade organic cotton pouch made in the UK for you to store your treasured jewellery and all notes and tissue paper are fully recyclable.
All Jewellery is made using recycled solid sterling silver and 18k gold vermeil plating. Gold Vermeil was originally developed in the 18th century. It is a high quality form of gold plating in which a thick layer of gold is bonded with the sterling silver beneath.
Presently I am still trying to source chain and clasps from a sustainable source, hopefully this will be possible in the near future.
All pearls and beads are vintage and carefully sourced by myself making them totally unique.
All pieces are made to order in London, alongside the making carried out in my home studio. I also work closely with a team of skilled casting and plating workshops in Hatton Garden.
